A Map

To make navigating a little easier it is possible to acquire a map inside Kestrel's Aerie. This is the inn on top of the hill, near the park ranger and opposite the Great Tree. Go inside and upstairs. Talk to The Cartographer who will give you a map in exchange for 4 inky mushroom caps. The map will not have any point to tell you where exactly you are, but it is still useful none the less.

A Bloomsac Raft

One of the first npcs you will meet when you cross the toll bridge and follow the path to Nava for the first time, is Bojan. He will tell you how to make a bloomsac raft if you make friends with him. To make the raft you will need to learn how to make twine, which you can get from Onur, who is right outside of the house nearby. You will also need 10 bloomsacs and a stick. Be very careful with the raft as it can drift away from you, especially when you first put it down in the water. Try and click on it right away, or load a recent save if it goes out of reach. NOTE: The bloomsacs do not respawn yet. I have read that this will be updated in the game in the future, but currently they do not respawn and if you do what I did and picked them all to sell/use, then you will not be able to visit every part of Eastshade to finish the game. Finally, to make a raft you will need sealant. This can be bought from Osha the bear in Nava for 500 glow stones, or you can give him the roots password. To get the roots password, you will need to complete Midwillow's Riddle and find Halem's missing necklace using Mudwillow's tincture. The necklace is right next to him in the water.

A Reed Boat

Use the bloomsac raft to get to the Sinkwood Inn. It's in the middle of the lake, on the little island, North of the Blushwood Forest. Investigate the inn and do the quest there. As a reward, the Historian will give you the knowledge to make a Reed Boat, which you can use to travel around the coast. It's much faster too. To make it you only need to find 10 heavy reeds, one stick, and make 2 bundles of twine. As with the bloomsac raft, be very careful it doesn't drift away from you and leave you stranded anywhere. If this happens, try to load your recent save. You can use the reed boat in order to travel around the coast line to Ocean's Breath in the North. Up here, you will be able to do a quest concerning an expedition for the university as well as get one of the commission paintings done. You can also use the boat to find a man stranded on the beach in the Western part of the map, and get to the Howling Caverns without using a zip trolley.

Carriage Rides

You can go between Lyndow and Nava for free using the carriage drivers, after you have made the trip to Nava on foot. There is a one next to an ox in Lyndow, and the other by the bridge at Nava.

The "Bursting Bubble" Hot Air Balloon

You can travel to the Restless Reach by helping Nessa with her Balloon business. Paint her balloon and then she will use it to make a flyer. Put the flyer in the city (click on it in the inventory and then place it on a wall where people will see it), and come back to her. She will give you a ride to the Restless Reach for free as often as you want.

The Bicycle, Zip Trolley, and Coat

You can buy a bicycle in Nava for 80 glow stones. It will let you travel on land much faster and can be packed away. The Zip trolley costs 70 glow stones, and will allow you to use any of the ropes you see in the sky (provided that you are going downwards on them). The coat I highly recommend getting as soon as possible as it allows you to travel anywhere at any time without freezing. It costs 70 glow stones.

Hot Spring Locations

Seltspring CoastThis one is easy to find. From the inn on the hill (Kestrel's Aerie), go down towards the sea. Walk along the beach towards the cliffs and the ship wreck in the water. The hot spring is at the end of the beach. Restless ReachTo get here take Nessa's balloon. With your back to the balloon, go up the stairs to the right to find the hot spring. The other path will go up to the highest peak, where you can paint one of the memorial paintings.Western WoodlandsThis one took me forever to find. It's south of Tomas' farm, where the river meets in a 'T' shape. You can see the middle tower and Bojan on his bloomsac in the distance. There are some signs nearby, but they are very easy to miss. It's slightly hidden in the rocks. Westspring BluffIn the Tiffmoor Bluffs, on the Western edge, there is a small separate island. Use the zip trolley to get there (don't zip the second rope yet) and walk straight ahead to the rocks. Howling CavernsTake the second zip line down from the Westspring Bluff island and you will find yourself in a cove. Inside is the locked box you need for another quest. Follow the tunnel to the Howling Caverns. This is also the place to do the commission painting for a starry cavern. There is the hot spring. To get out, go back up the steps and you can activate the stone rocks to climb. You can also get into the Howling Caverns by taking the zip line from the Tiffmor Gorge, in the North East, near the mountains on the map.

I have visited all 5 of the locations, but must have forgotten to fill the liquid. How can I get more empty vials?
